One day a son asked his father "father may I know that what can happen if I make wrong to others?". The father said to his son "son, whenever you feel angry with me or others, do this". Then, father pointed his finger to the standing wood near fence and continued saying "go and strike thumbtack with a hammer on that wood each time you feel angry".
In the next morning, the son started struck a thumbtack with the hammer on that wood but his father was looking at him from the inside of the house. He kept doing this every day. So, there became a lot of thumbtacks on the wood and there wasn't left any spaces.
For this reason, he went straight to his father and said "father, there isn't left any spaces to struck", then his father said to him with gentle voice "son, now you may go and remove all the thumbtacks from it, let me know when you finish. You also have to bring all those back to me". The son went to the wood to do as he had been told by his father. He began from the early morning but he could finish in the evening.
He brought all the thumbtacks to his father and said "father, I'm done removing". As soon as he finished saying, his father told him to follow to go and see together the condition of the wood.
He started saying "son, see ? Every time you say bad words or doing wrong to your friends, you give pains in their hearts. After you regret for making mistakes and try to remove all the pains, still the scars leave in their hearts. So, the relationships with your friends are the same as this wood and thumbtacks. It can not be returned as the normal".
(The wood represented heart or feeling and the thumbtacks indicated to bad manners or words.)
